JULIE HESS
For more than 25 years, Julie Hess has worked with leaders, teams, and organizations to achieve breakthrough results. Julie began her career in the industrial plastics industry, working with global clients to solve complex design and manufacturing challenges. During this time she identified an untapped market for existing materials that she subsequently developed into her firm’s fastest-growing business unit. Later, she took her passion for problem-solving into the world of corporate and organizational strategy, first at consulting firm CSC Index and later as an executive in Motorola’s Leadership and Organization Effectiveness Group. It was here that Julie developed her passion for coaching, which led her to complete her initial coaching certification at the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara, a pioneer in coach education and development....
In 2001, Julie founded Catalyst Consulting and has continuously led and grown the practice since. Today, Julie divides her time between her executive coaching practice and supporting the development of other coaches as a Coach Supervisor and educator. Her broad background enables her to fully appreciate the challenges that her coaching clients and their organizations face. Julie has worked with clients in a broad range of industries including technology, healthcare, consumer packaged goods, pharmaceuticals, hospitality, automotive, financial services, professional services, and real estate. She is known as an authentic, thoughtful, and direct partner to her clients, helping them to achieve the growth they desire. Julie holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business and a Master of Engineering Management from the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University, and a BS in Business Administration from DePaul University. She earned her diploma in Coach Supervision from the Coaching Supervision Academy and holds a PCC from the International Coach Federation. Julie lives in Chicago, Illinois and Naples, Florida with her best coach, her husband Dan, and their two dogs Noodle and Mousse.
LAURA DALEY
Laura is an executive coach, leadership advisor and strategy consultant with more than 25 years of experience. Over the past decade, she has coached hundreds of executives in industries including private equity, technology, financial services, biopharma and nonprofits.
Laura’s experience on all sides of coaching gives her a broad perspective and appreciation for her clients and their organizational systems. At Spencer Stuart, as Vice President of Learning & Development, she supported firm leaders through coaching. In building The Goodstone Group, she grew the coach network and partnered with clients to match coaches to their needs. As an external coach, Laura works with executives, leadership teams and coaches-in-training. ...
Earlier in her career, Laura spent ten years as a management consultant for top firms serving clients in the US, Europe, Africa and Asia. She holds an MBA with honors from UCLA Anderson, a BA with honors in Economics from Cornell University, and a PCC from the International Coach Federation. She studied at the Hudson Institute of Coaching, HEC Paris, and the Graduate Institute, Geneva. Laura enjoys learning from and being inspired by her husband, Alec, and daughter, Maddie, and also her clients, movement, and travel.
